Who we are

Pure Weddings (pureweddings.uk) is a brand of Pure Marketing Services Ltd, the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

  • Company: Pure Marketing Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 12369601
  • Registered office: Lifford Hall, Lifford Lane, Kings Norton, Birmingham, B30 3JN
  • ICO registration: ZB366626

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site (the free venue audit, the contact form or the calculator form) we collect the details you give us: your name, venue name, email address, phone number, venue website, type of venue, the services you are interested in and any message you write.

So we know which of our marketing is working, the form also records the page you were on and how you arrived at the site: the campaign details in the link you arrived from (such as UTM tags or an advertising click ID) or, where there are none, the kind of place you came from, such as a search engine, social media or another website.

Like most websites, our hosting keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time), used to keep the site secure and working.

How we measure the site

We run our own visitor measurement tool on this website so we can see which pages work and where visitors get stuck, for example a form that people start but do not finish. For each page view it records the page, the type of device, how you arrived, how far down the page you scrolled, where on the page you clicked, whether you started or sent a form, any errors on the page and how quickly it loaded.

It does not use cookies or store anything on your device. It does not record your IP address, anything you type into a form, or anything that links one visit to another, so it cannot identify you. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal it records nothing at all. The information is kept on our own web hosting, is not shared with anyone else, and is kept in detail for 35 days and as daily totals for about 13 months.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and carry out the audit or call you asked for
  • To follow up about our services where you have shown an interest in them
  • To understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, and how visitors use the site, so we can improve them
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and following up business enquiries and in improving our website, and, where you have given it, your consent. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of trusted providers to run our business, who process data on our behalf: our website host (20i, UK), our email provider, our customer relationship management system, and, where enabled, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta for measuring visits and advertising. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed for it to work, and, where enabled, analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand how the site is used and measure our campaigns. Our own visitor measurement tool, described above, does not use cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and normally no longer than three years after our last contact with you, unless we need to keep them longer for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@puremarketing.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Other websites

This policy covers pureweddings.uk only. Links to other websites, including puremarketing.uk, are covered by those websites’ own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
